Low-Cost Mental Health Services Program in Florida

Affordable, High-Quality Counseling—Because Everyone Deserves Support

At Seasons Psychotherapy Associates, we believe everyone deserves access to mental health care—regardless of insurance status or income level. Our Low-Cost Mental Health Services Program offers affordable, professional therapy for individuals and families who need support but face financial barriers.

What Is the Low-Cost Therapy Program?

This program provides access to individual therapy, group counseling, and psychoeducational workshops, all at significantly reduced rates. Services are delivered by graduate-level student clinicians who are completing advanced degrees in mental health-related fields.

All sessions are closely supervised by licensed therapists to ensure quality care that is compassionate, ethical, and grounded in evidence-based practice.

Whether you’re dealing with anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship struggles, or just need someone to talk to, this program offers a supportive path toward healing—without the financial burden of traditional private therapy.

Who Provides the Therapy?

Our student clinicians are graduate students in fields such as Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, or Marriage and Family Therapy. Each intern has completed intensive coursework and practical training before seeing clients.

They are supervised weekly by licensed clinicians who guide their work and ensure best practices are being followed. This model allows us to offer high-quality care at a fraction of the typical cost.

What to Expect in Sessions

Therapy sessions are typically 40 to 50 minutes long, with your treatment plan personalized to your goals and concerns.

A licensed supervisor will conduct your initial consultation to help match you with the right student clinician and approach for your needs.

We offer:

  • Individual therapy for adults, children (age 6+), and teens
  • Group therapy (when available)
  • Psychoeducational workshops covering key mental wellness topics

What Does It Cost?

Our program is intentionally affordable, with most services priced between $8–$30 per session. During your intake process, we’ll work with you to establish a payment plan that suits your situation.

This program is a great fit if you:

  • Are uninsured or underinsured
  • Have a high deductible health plan
  • Can’t afford full-fee therapy
  • Are looking for short-term, affordable support while waiting for long-term options

Are There Any Limitations?

While our student clinicians are well-trained and supported, there are a few important limitations to be aware of:

  • We do not offer emergency or on-call services
  • We may refer you out if you need highly specialized or crisis-level care (such as severe substance use, suicidal ideation, or complex trauma)
  • Interns are available for limited periods of time, as they rotate through academic semesters

If at any point your needs exceed what this program can provide, we’ll help connect you with alternative resources or providers who can support you.
